You never think it can happen to you or someone you know and love, but it does happen. Cancer doesn't discriminate. Our dear friend, Crystal, has Stage 4 Metastatic Malignant Melanoma. It has been beating her up with all sorts of nasty side effects and she is in the hospital again this week.
Crystal has been undergoing treatment for weeks. Many of you may not even know she is fighting cancer at this time, but she is a fighter and will beat this monster. Her current form of treatment includes a central venous catheter in her chest for a form of chemotherapy.
Her medical bills have been growing for a few months now, and will continue to grow. That added stress on anyone is something we, as her friends, can help alleviate.
