Dan’s Recovery Fund
Our beloved father, Daniel Falesnik, has fallen ill and is fighting for his life this holiday season in the ICU. Any small donations or prayers to assist in his recovery are appreciated by our entire family during this challenging time.
His first visit to the hospital began on November 30th with breathing problems where he spent a week in recovery. After going home for the remainder of recovery on December 5th due to concerns of not being able to cover the high medical bills, he continued to experience more significant health challenges.
Upon his second visit to the hospital with breathing problems on December 18th, he was quickly rushed into ICU where he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now fighting for his health in any way possible. The West Allis Memorial Hospital has administered several experimental drugs to help him recover, as well as a plasma infusion, which have shown little promise to-date but we are staying positive and hopeful as a family. Today, he remains in critical condition with COVID-19 and pneumonia.
Our father has worked as a laborer all his life (a machinist) and is one of the sweetest and nicest people we know. Unfortunately, he also has very limited financial resources. with medical bills stacking up, as well as basic expenses such as rent/utilities, we are now trying to build this fund so he can focus more on getting better, and less time worrying about financial stress.
Dan has a long road to recovery ahead of him and we are doing everything possible to keep his spirits up. Thank you for all of your love and support during these challenging times, as every little bit helps.
Merry Christmas everyone, please be safe, stay healthy and cherish everything you have.
