Bills adding up due to injury, losing job
Hello All,
I was told that this might help out. As you all know I have been out of work due to a fall on Dec 26th. I was also 5 days shy of my insurance kicking in on Jan 1st. So I will not receive any short term disability. As a newer employee to my job I did not have a lot of time saved for vacation or sick pay. That said my last check was Jan 3rd in the amount of 422.00 for my sick and vacation time. Since then I have been trying not to spend money, I did have to pay out of pocket until my insurance cards and flex plan card came in the mail on Jan 9th. I'm thankful that my parents helped me out for my first month and paid some of my bills. As we all know money does not grow in our back yards. I failed as an adult to have 3 months of bills saved in my savings like my parents always have told me. Who would suspect playing with your dog would result in a head injury that would cause you to be out of work this long? Not me... I will now always put money away no matter what just in case an accident happens like this again,(when I work again). As of now my Dr. has a goal that I continue to improve and hopes that maybe I can go back to work part-time on or around Feb 10th. I was hoping sooner since I'm not being paid at all. Life is life! So from well, Dec 26th until I can actually work full time again I will be having a hard time with money and paying bills. Hence this page. This is not a simple thing to do, "Ask for money". I'm not trying to break you either. I'm looking for anything to help through the next few months to get back on my feet. $1.00 or anything, to share this with friends and family. $ 1.00 per person could go along way! Anything would help. Don't be pressured to do it. If you can't you can't. We all have lives and needs.
Thanks for your time,
Amber Gale
