Our family needs help and isn't sure what else to do. It brings us to tears because our poor girl is in pain and we can't help her. We noticed her eye was irritated a couple weeks ago and thought maybe one of the kitties got her so we gave her some drops and it started to look better. Well then it got worse over night almost and her eye started to bulge out. We've been back and forth to vets. They said it was an infection and gave us medicine to treat it. She's been on antibiotics for over 2 weeks and its getting worse. We took her back again to the vets, our girl is now blind in her eye and they think her only option is surgery to remove the eye so they can get to the infection themselves. We've already spent over $600 on treatment and the vet wants over $2000 to do the surgery. We unfortunately don't have that. We're asking our friends and loved ones and anyone whos got a soft spot for big sweet dopey dogs to please help donate to save our Ripley girl. She's the kindest sweetest dog you ever could meet and we're terrified to lose her. Those of you who are close might know, but we lost our other two pups to old age the end of last year and Ripley is now our only puppy. With so much loss recently we could really use a win.
