Rey DeLeon, a great cousin and a trusted friend to many, tragically passed away Friday, August 7, 2015, when he suddenly collapsed and died outside his home.
Rey was an amazing man. When you thought of the great German car BMW, you thought of Rey. He began toying with BMW’s in 1992 at the BMW Center in San Antonio and worked his way up to obtain the highest certifications the car maker has to offer. He was an avid golfer and could often be found on the golf course when not spending time working on the cars he so loved, BMW’s.
Rey was not married. His only surviving immediate family members are his mother, who is bedridden and lives in Stockton, CA, several siblings that have been estranged from Rey for years and a handfull of cousins in San Antonio. Outside of that Rey had friends, lots of them, such as yourself.
This GoFundMe account has been created to provide funds to ensure Rey has a dignified burial that he deserves and one we would all want for our dear friend. Our goal is to fulfill this fund to pay for all funeral costs, and a tombstone fitting for a man that was always there for us when we needed him.
