Paralyzed Mom of 2 Needs Help

Hello my name is Darlene Dolin, I am 41 years old.  I am married to a wonderful husband and have two wonderful boys, aged 9 and 11.  I had a great active life, I worked a job, worked on our farm, I gardened, and enjoyed raising our two boys.  On Sept. 30th I was working around my house and preparing to go to my boys football game, when I was struck with a horrible pain in my stomach and back.  When taken to the hospital,by my husband when he returned home, I was told I was OK and sent home.  I could not walk straight all evening and became weaker and weaker with no bladder function.  In the middle of the night I got up and collapsed to the floor.  That is the last time I have walked.  I was diagnosed with transverse mylitis which left me paralyzed from the ribs down.  I am currently unable to move my legs although I have gained some nerve sensation.  I have been able to move my left toe a little.  I am currently involved in PT and I went to John Hopkins and have the best doctor in the nation.  However, the medical bills are mounting.  The travel expenses along with lodging expenses to stay in Maryland for intense therapy have taken its toll.  My doctor has recommended a FES bike for me to use at home along with a standing frame.  When electrodes are placed on certain muscle groups it allows me to pedal the bike.  It has been proven to help many people to regain some function back or in some cases even walk again.  So far our insurance company has not approved either of these items, and I am asking for help to get these items so that I can get back to raising my children and living a quality life.  I am sure that God has a plan for me and I continue to keep my faith in him.  I am not the type of person who has ever ask anyone for anything unless it is completely necessary.  
     Any thing would be greatly appreciated as we live 6-1/2 hours from the hospital and the main therapy location in Baltimore, MD.
