We all know Leah through either high school, in the community, heard her on the radio station or even seen her at her girls sporting events cheering them on. She is very much involved in her families lives and has worked the same job at the radio station since high school. She loves her family so very much and has also done what she can for them.

This year right before her first born daughters graduation and preparations for college send off, she received the news any woman doesn’t want to hear. I am so sorry but you have Breast Cancer. How as a human can you process this, and try to process your first born graduating and going to college all at the same time. The world felt like it was crashing!

Late June Leah did have a Lumpectomy to remove the cancer but it doesn’t end there. Angelina is headed off to college and now they are getting ready to start paying for college and now chemo and radiation.  Doctor’s have decided that a more aggressive treatment would be best for her.  

As anyone that may know someone that has gone through this, it will be a tiresome process and as much as Leah and Walker are going to still work to pay for Angelina’s College and Leah’s treatments, her body needs to be able to heal and fight cancer.

This go fund me is set up to help take the stress of medical bills off Leah and Walker. Also if Leah needs to be off work to heal, she can knowing she has so many people that love and supported her along her journey.

Leah would do anything for any of us so let’s help her.
