Sweet 6 year old rescue Sammy recently suffered a spinal cord injury requiring emergency surgery.

He is home and recovering but still has a long road of rehab ahead.

Even with the help of his pet insurance, there is still a hefty balance of $5,000. This does not include the possible need for future rehabilitation and medical care.

I rescued Sammy as a 3 month old stray.

He was in a sad state of health and required extensive medical care, including 2 knee surgeries. He's been in great health since, until he suffered this traumatic injury.
