Booth And Lampke Families Fire Fund
Donation protected
On November 8th 2018. The families of William and Lillian Booth and LoRee and Michael Lampke were changed forever by the Camp Fire that has ravaged the town of Paradise, Ca.
This fire has caused the evacuation and displacement of aprox. 30,000 people. Loss of thousands of homes, hundreds of businesses and currently 23 lives
We were able to evacuate from our homes with a suitcase of the basics and very little else. As we left we could see the flames quickly coming toward our house. The evacuation process took 3+hours to go the distance that normally took us 20 minutes. Driving through smoke and at times flames surrounding the sides of the road that we were on.
We have gotten word that everything is lost. The Booth home where they have lived for the last 34years. As well as the Lampke home and screen printing business.
Many have asked how they can help. And at this time we are still in shock and trying to figure out the next step. We currently have the basics for ourselves but will need more later when we can find a place to get more settled.
We have to remember that this process of recovery will be a marathon not a sprint.
We thank you for all your prayers and your thoughts. As well as for any donations that you are able to provide.
Thank you the Booth and Lampke families.
