In 2013, Kim was diagnosed with osteosarcoma the night her daughter, Ariana, was born. Despite her odds, she survived -though she had to have her leg and hip removed.
She used arm crutches to move around and could move faster than anyone could believe. She kept house, chased Ariana laughing all the while. She even went horseback riding, did her own grocery shopping and could whip up a feast without thinking twice.
The covid19 virus cut Jon's hours at work, then - a few weeks ago - we learned Kim's cancer had returned. She had just begun working at a local store to help with bills.
The cancer was aggressive and invasive and she fought like a warrior. On July 2nd, we lost her. At the end, she had the strength and love to only respond to her daughter's voice. "Hey, baby, I love you."
I am asking for prayers for her and Jon and Ariana. If you can help financially for Ariana, we are so grateful. Their immediate need is household upkeep, bills, etc. Jon will return to work, after Ariana has had time to process her mom's death.
