My name is Debutante Victoria Cater the proud daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Cater. I am a junior at Carmel High School; there I am an active participant in the Japanese Exchange Program, Gkom, Anime Club, and the Art Club. I am a member of Solid Word Bible Church.
I have been selected as a Debutante for the 2015 Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program hosted by Alpha Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Ivy Endowment, Inc. The Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program was developed for young ladies who are juniors and seniors in high school in order to equip, encourage and stimulate them to pursue higher education, academic excellence, personal development and civic involvement. Each debutante works to earn scholarship dollars toward higher education.
In addition to my participation in the 2015 Debutante Cotillion, I am an active member of the Indianapolis Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. I have served as a leader in the Teen Group for two years, serving as the Foundation Chair, and current Secretary. I'm also an active member of Top Teens of America. I have served as 2nd Vice President for two years and I am currently the President of our local chapter. In Area V of the National Organization currently I am the 2nd Vice President. I am committed to be the best teen I can be by being of service to my community.
Among the various responsibilities of each Debutante is to obtain patron support for the Ivy Endowment, Inc. Scholarship Fund. The proceeds are directed toward scholarships granted to program participants at the Debutante Cotillion Scholarship Ball, which is to be held on November 8, 2015 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Along with academic achievement, community service, and program participation, fundraising is an important component of the scholarship award selection criteria. I am asking for your financial support as I seek to attain higher education and academic excellence.
