David Lost Home in CA Woolsey Fire

Donation protected
My dad David Domm lived in the upper half of Seminole Springs in Cornell Ca which was hit by the Woolsey Fire. I live in Thousand Oaks and we were up all night waiting to see if we were going to have to evacuate and I got a call in the middle of the night that my dad had to leave. He asked me if there was anything that I wanted him to bring for me - I had all of my belongings stored there. I said no it's ok just get out of there. Neither one of us were actually expecting to not have a home left the next day. I have thought so many times about this - if you had to up and leave what would you take with you? But in the moment it is so surreal you basically just go and you are not thinking straight. That being said, my dad left with basically the clothes on his back and his laptop and just a few really important things. He didn't have insurance. He and so many others that live in the community have nothing left. True devastation.Nothing monetarily is going to help with the loss of all of our family photos and keepsakes - but at least it can help with getting him some basics and possibly help him find a new place to live. Anything helps and thank you so much <3
