Celebrating the Lives of Lauren & Baby Maggie

Lauren was overjoyed to become a mother and eagerly awaited the arrival of her baby girl, Maggie. Tragically, complications in her final month of pregnancy resulted in seizures which led to an emergency c-section, during which Maggie was stillborn. Lauren suffered a brain bleed as a result and was placed into a medically induced coma. She stayed with us for two weeks, and was showing some signs of improvement, before her body told us she was done fighting and ready to go be with her baby. In her final act of generosity, Lauren donated her organs to save the lives of others.

Lauren was a remarkable person—intelligent, kind, strong-willed, and beautiful inside and out. As a respiratory therapist, she was always the first to lend a helping hand. She had a deep bond with her dog, Blue, whom she called her "soulmate." An artist at heart, Lauren’s warmth and compassion will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

We are raising funds to assist with funeral costs and to support her devoted husband Nik and her beloved dog Blue in the aftermath of this tragedy.
