On Thursday the 8th of November 2018 a fire swept through Paradise CA and left the town in ruins. This is the adopted home town of my parents and brothers. Both my parents and my brother, John, have lost their homes and everything inside. My parents were on a short trip so left with only four days worth of clothes. My brother, his wife and their three kids are currently displaced and questioning their future. All family members, including the furry type, are safe. But it is a dire situation as they start to rebuild from scratch. Being on the other side of the world I feel so far away and unable to help. So this is my contribution.
