Hey all,

my life was doing really well, my skin graft was healing really well and I was getting my life back. I started working 10/7/25 and had been doing a couple of massages a day Tuesday-Saturday every week. I was so excited and having fun being able to qorl
with clients again and getting back to a new normal. This past Saturday, 11/01/25, I started not feeling well. I developed debilitating pain, chills, and the inability to walk again. On Sunday morning I called an ambulance and by 6pm Sunday evening I was admitted to Hartford Hospital.

I have a severe infection in my joint and have been dealing with extreme pain that is chronic and debilitating. My surgical team decided it was time to address the issue at the level of the joint itself. It is post-op and I’m in the bone and joint institute, again. I’m writing this in utter pain, disbelief, and shock. I had my left knee replaced and I have antibiotic spacers and cement in and around my femur and tibia. My life will be disrupted for the next 6 weeks due to IV antibiotics and then a lifetime of having to be on some type of oral antibiotic to make sure I don’t get another infection in my leg. I need your help, again. Thanks in advance.
as that will lead to an above the knee amputation. I want to avoid this and take other options to heal aside from just the western medical approach.
