Maureen needs your help

My name is Glenn, Maureen's husband and I want to tell you a brief story of this amazing woman.
Maureen started working for Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse when she was 17 years old washing dishes. Throughout the years she moved her way out of the dish room to become the lead server and later general manager for over 20 years. Her knowledge of cooking and creating a fun experience for customers made Pinnacle Peak a destination spot for people wanting a great steak, chicken or ribs and fun times . 7 years ago, she got her big break when the owner wanted to retire and turned the restaurants over to Maureen.   We sunk our entire life's savings into purchasing the stores. The former owner's believed in Maureen so much that they even offered to help fund the extra $$$ to complete the sale. Over the last 7 years, Maureen has reinvigorated the restaurants with new energy, expanded the menu and increased sales due to her dedication and love of cooking. On selected random nights you can even try out new dinner\dessert items that she is constantly inventing.
Then Covid hit. Without warning we were faced with being closed  down. She immediately started to construct a take out menu and facilitate a way for our customer's to still enjoy the Peak experience. When outside dinning was allowed, we spent  a lot of $$$  getting both restaurants ready. We thought we had dodged the bullet with out door dining. Customers were coming back, past due bills were getting caught up , reservations were getting booked and even had a wait at the  front door. Seemed that life was somehow returning to normal as much as normal could be.
Shortly before Thanksgiving, we again had a major gut punch, the Governor closed outdoor dining, we returned back to take out. The bills immediately began to pile up again.  While we have had an amazing outreach from long time customers, the facts are take out doesn't pay the bills for this type of restaurant. The rent and $$$ needed to keep our doors open isn't coming in fast enough to survive.
Which brings me to this request. Maureen is the hardest working person I know. She truly loves her job. She truly lovers her staff, She truly loves her customers.

We have emptied our retirement funds, took out all of the equity from our house and exhausted all $$$ we could scrape together. PPP funds are great for paying employees but, by the time this next round rolls out I fear we may be closed for good.  We will loose everything we have spent a lifetime to achieve and may become homeless.

Time is critical, all funds raised will go to helping pay employees, paying our rent and utilities, none will be used for our personal expenses.

If you can help Maureen keep her dream alive, I ask\plead that you look deep into your heart and don't let this virus take another victim. Thank You, God Bless
