Hello everyone,

I am Yahya Abuaita, a Palestinian from Gaza, I've just finished my master's in architecture in Hungary.

Today, I am reaching out to you on behalf of my family back in Gaza. The situation they are facing is dire, and I am urgently seeking your support to evacuate them from the war-torn Gaza Strip to Egypt. This campaign is a last resort to help my precious family escape the war and rebuild their lives.

During the past three months, we have witnessed the destruction of our family home in Jabalia due to the ongoing war. And currently, my family is displaced, seeking refuge in Rafah. Our family is in a severe psychological state after losing 50 family members in airstrikes. Amidst this tragedy, my father is stuck in the West Bank, unreachable. This campaign is a plea for assistance to reunite our grieving family and ensure their safe passage to Egypt.

Our family consists of 7 members – my mother Ahlam, my father Safwan (currently in the West Bank), little sister Heba, little brother Mohammed, older brother Moath, and his two lovely kids, Ahlam and Saad. We were once a happy, carefree family, always gathering at the family house. Unfortunately, our home in Jabalia, once a place of warmth and security, has been destroyed, taking with it the children's safe haven and dreams.

Funds raised through this campaign will be dedicated to facilitating the safe passage of my family from Rafah to Egypt. The evacuation process costs $10,000 per person, and with seven family members, the total amounts to $70,000. This cost, unfortunately, exploits people during these challenging times and makes it nearly impossible to get to safety.

The main goal is to get the family to a safe place outside Gaza, and the remaining funds will be used to repair the house and make it habitable again to host the family after this deadly war ends. this will provide them with the hope and opportunity to rebuild their lives in a place they can once again call home.
