Our Sarah Brooke has just been diagnosed with colorectal cancer at the age of 26. She has battled Crohns disease for many years and is one of the strongest and most vibrant ladies I know, so it's no surprise that she is ready to fight cancer even more fiercely. Her and her husband, Curry, have a precious angel, Noah, in Heaven and a beautiful 3 month old daughter, Linnea. This diagnosis has been a shock to us all and we feel helpless and heartbroken for them.
Sarah has been transferred to Chapel Hill in search of the best treatment plan for her. She is far away from her daughter and Curry is still having to work in Tennessee. He is driving back and forth to be with Sarah and Linnea as he can. God has a plan through all of this though, and we are holding tight to our Faith in Him. We know God will help them each step of their journey and we cling to His Hope.
~Many have asked how they can help and I wanted to start this fund for anyone who feels led to give a monetary gift to help them as they face egg harvesting & fertility treatments, cancer treatments, multiple surgeries & hospitalizations, travel expenses, and so much more. I hope this helps alleviate some of the financial burden from their shoulders as they focus on the more important parts of this fight. If you can not give, please keep them in your daily prayers. We believe in the power of prayer and thank you all for each one lifted to God for Sarah, Curry, and Linnea. Also, keep Sarah's mom, Kathy Willingham, in your prayers.
