It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jeremy Ioane after his courageous battle with a rare kidney disease.
Jeremy was many things to many people. He was a beloved son, brother, teammate, and friend, but above all else, Jeremy was a devoted father.
He leaves behind his two beautiful children, Raydor (13) and Indie (4), and as their mother Brynne shared, “This loss feels so HUGE… It’s learning to live with not only my own heartbreak but also supporting Raydor and Indie through the heartbreak of losing their dad and everything that comes with that.”
Anyone who knows Brynne knows she is one of the strongest and most selfless people you could meet. She never asks for anything for herself. But as she grieves the loss of her partner and father of their children, she is also carrying the immense responsibility of helping Raydor and Indie heal while providing them with the stability, love, and opportunities Jeremy would have wanted for them.
Recently, Raydor was accepted into Punahou School. This was a milestone that Jeremy was incredibly proud to celebrate, as he too started his Punahou journey at the same age. Our hope is to help ease some of the financial burdens Brynne now faces alone so that Raydor and Indie can continue to thrive and have the support they need in the years ahead. All funds raised will go toward's Raydor and Indie and the many unforeseen expenses that come with raising two young children as a single parent.
We are asking Jeremy’s family, friends, teammates, classmates, and community to come together to honor his memory by supporting the two people he loved most in this world—his children.
No amount is too small. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please share this fundraiser and keep Brynne, Raydor, and Indie in your hearts during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for helping us care for Jeremy’s greatest gifts and ensuring that Raydor and Indie continue to feel the love and support of the community that meant so much to their dad.
“At every birthday and milestone, both big and small, and all moments in between—we’ll look for you.” - Brynne
