I have been working as an officer at the Allred Maximum Security Unit for a while.

In March of this year, I suffered a stroke while on duty which took part of my vision. They are still trying to figure out why this happened, but I have been unable to work since that day.

I do have some sick time at my work, but most of it has been used. I have been without my full-time income for a month, and the bills keep piling up. Doctor's visits and medications I can't afford to get currently are causing financial stress to the household.

All my doctors say I am very lucky and I need to not stress about things and heal my brain. I am told the next one could be fatal or take all of my vision. I'm doing my best to stay calm, but it is difficult when these things keep piling up. I may need to travel to see specialists soon.

All my life, I have tried to help and uplift others. For the past two months, I have tried to handle all of this quietly and not ask for help, but that isn't working for anyone.
