Help for Heidi

Hello, I am creating this GoFundMe for my close friend Heidi... Heidi, unfortunately, is no stranger to trauma or tragedy. She has bravely endured more in her lifetime than most could imagine; despite all the pain, heartache, and loss she has felt, she has never lost her loving, giving, and caring nature. For over 20 years Heidi worked in healthcare, providing a sense of peace and support to sick and scared patients when they needed it most. Eventually, though, even the strongest among us need help. In January of 2017, Heidi's life turned upside down when the love of her life, Lawrence, was killed in a horrific crash- leaving Heidi struggling to find the will to go on, struggling to find meaning, struggling to find herself, and struggling to try and learn how to function again in a world where she felt alone.
The years since Lawrence's death have been a daily struggle for Heidi to keep her head above water; each time she is able to make progress to regaining stability, there seems to be a new hurdle or catastrophe to derail her efforts. In the past year and a half alone, Heidi was forced out of her safe housing, followed shortly thereafter with her truck being stolen and never recovered, forcing her to have to learn to navigate the world without a home or vehicle.
Recently Heidi was able to buy a used car and has been living in a rented storage unit. But, as is par for the course in Heidi's life, her car is in need of repairs which she cannot afford, with someone even stealing her car battery since it has been parked.
I am asking for help for Heidi, it is already getting cold and she cannot spend another freezing winter living in a storage unit-without a car she is unable to even turn on the car to warm up, or power any of the small appliances/lights she uses to make the storage unit slightly livable.
Any donations received will go directly to repairing her vehicle, and any deposit/rent for finding a safe, warm, permanent place to live. Heidi has so much potential but just needs a little help to meet her basic human needs so she can flourish again.
