Abosede, popularly known by her friends and family as "Abby," is a hardworking registered nurse of over a decade and the mother of four boys. After battling cancer and multiple health and life-threatening complications, undergoing multiple other surgeries, and dealing with Addison's disease, Abby's life changed dramatically in 2020 when she had back surgery, which left her with an incomplete spinal cord injury and wheelchair dependent. She has been out of work since 2020 and has relied on social security disability. She is currently in rehabilitation and trying to be as independent as possible, but she has minimal resources to help her get to her new normal life.

Abby is a true fighter and a warrior; she has conquered many challenges and is making fantastic progress in her recovery. She is currently doing physical therapy. Apart from medical bills and monthly home bills piling up, she would need a wheelchair van with modifications, accessibility to her home, and other medical supplies that can help her be independent.
