Donate to Help Krystal Get Back on Her Feet

Hello neighbors and Happy Holidays! My name is Margeaux Bowers and I have been a resident here for 12 years. I am reaching out on my own to ask for your help for Krystal, our River Road gate guard. Many of you have noticed that she has been absent from work several times and have inquired if there was anything you could do to help her. Krystal is a single mother of five and has had two devastating incidences occur in her life in the past month. A few weeks ago she was attacked by a stray dog in a park and suffered severe mauling to her legs which rendered her unable to walk for a while and caused her to miss work for doctor appointments, especially after the wounds became infected. Right after she began walking again, she was driving and was hit by a driver who had stolen a car and was being pursued by the police. The impact totaled her car that she used to get to work and drive her kids to their activities. Because she only had liability insurance, the damage to her car was not covered by insurance. Due to limited finances, she is currently unable to purchase another car and has been relying on other people for rides.
