Help Me keep a roof over my head

Hi, I'm Mel. A transgender woman from northeast Illinois, In May I lost my job due to my bosses thinking a mental health issue was considered time theft. They fired me before I could file for accommodations and left me to survive on savings while I looked for work.

After a month, I hadn't been able to get a job despite numerous applications and interviews. Down to my last few hundred dollars, I am scared and desperate and need just a little more breathing room so I can secure a job and get back on my feet.

Any amount would be appreciated and it would go towards making sure I have enough money for rent and bills. I will also update on job progress to keep things transparent with everyone.
