Baby Sunny's Medical Expenses

Hello,
My name is Jake Hallin and I'm here to tell you a story about a couple of very close and wonderful friends who could very much benefit from your love and kindness.
Chelsea Campbell-Martin and Derrick Martin-Campbell are two of the most well rounded, emotionally and socially generous, hilarious and kind people I have ever had the benefit of knowing. Each works in non-profit sector doing incredible important work. Chelsea with lower-income mothers and Derrick works to help end gaps within public health care. They truly are the type of individuals that make you strive to be your best but do so without ever making you feel as though you're lacking.
On Thursday January 28th Chelsea and Derrick welcomed their beautiful son into the world. His name is Sunny Josiah and he is magnificent. However he came into this world over month early and has struggled with health complication that have not only taken an emotional toll on the new family but also a financial one.
Like many premature babies Sunny has had difficulty breathing without help, has struggled with infection and has had trouble regulating his blood pressure.
His parents have hardly been able to touch him and he is isolated to an NICU with a very limited amount of visitors.
Though everyone in Sunny's very new life is confident that he'll pull through it would be a tremendous relief for his parents if they could receive some financial assistance.
All that I am currently asking for is $5000.00, which will go towards covering the expense of Chelsea's midwives and also the cost of delivery at the hospital.
We aren't yet certain what the total cost of medical expenses will be, or how long Sunny will need to be in the hospital. However, if we can start off by dealing with some of these early costs we can help to alleviate some of the incredible stress that is being put on Chelsea and Derrick which, no new parent should have to deal with.
