On 11/01/2018, Rosita "Ro-Z" Yazzie passed away after fighting a long, hard battle. She was able to spend her last few weeks of life in hospice care, where her comfort was of utmost priority. During that time, she had good days and bad days. However, through it all, she was always surrounded by those she loved. While her passing was foreseen, the short amount of time given to her family was not enough to make preparations for her afterlife care and the costs that are involved with such preparations.

Ro-Z lived a life full of happiness, adventure, and inquisition. She could always be found with a smile on her face, a joke ready to be cracked, and a readiness to go on a road trip. A Celebration of Life is in the works to remember Ro-Z's spirit. If you'd like to donate in Ro-Z's name, it will go directly to the costs related to her afterlife care.
