It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the unexpected loss of our son/grandson/brother/nephew/cousin and friend Brennan Gard who died in a tragic single car accident on the morning of Thursday, November 1st, 2018. Brennan would have turned 22 in December. Brennan was loved by all of his family and friends! He is dearly missed already but he will never be forgotten! He will be in our hearts forever!Brennan had just returned to Northern California after working over a year in Seattle. We were so glad to have him home again. He found work in the construction field in California that he truly enjoyed, which gave him the opportunity to travel and spend time outdoors on the California coast. He had just purchased a new quad and enjoyed the freedom of spending the time out in the elements doing what he enjoyed most, riding quads. Brennan grew up in Anderson and was active in sports throughout his youth - basketball, football, water sports and riding his quad were his favorite activities. He enjoyed spending time with family and boating whenever the opportunity allowed. In addition to this devastating tragedy, the Gard family is also dealing with the recent loss of Brennan's grandfather, Buck Gard, who passed away just this past Sunday, October 28th, after suffering from a long illness. This GoFundMe account has been established to bless the Gard family as they prepare to make final arrangements for not one, but two family members - their son and their father, and to provide some financial relief for the unforeseen expenses of the coming weeks.
