Hi, my name is Jayden and I am trying to raise money for my family dog Bruin. Bruin is 7 years old and the biggest, sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. During this holiday season we got bad news that he has cancer. We originally were told it was bone cancer and then we were told it was a soft tissue sarcoma. After the most recent appointment with a cancer specialist, the doctor is suggesting doing a CT scan, as we know it is cancer but he is not sure it is what we were originally told. My family has already exhausted all of our pet insurance money and will now be paying for any future tests / treatments out of pocket. We are looking for enough money to pay for at least the CT scan to find out what exactly Bruin’s cancer is. This is very important because we have been told depending on what it is he could either live for months or even weeks. If we know exactly what it is we can narrow it down to an exact treatment and possibly prolong his life for years. Bruin is still in the best of spirits but is in a tremendous amount of pain in his leg and not knowing how to properly treat it, is allowing it to get worse. Bruin is the most special dog and has gotten my mom especially through very hard times. Getting this news during the holiday season has shifted our entire “holiday spirit” this Christmas. Having the support financially would be a huge help and could possibly save our family dogs life. Any donation, big or small matters.
