Help Give The Gift Of Music

Hi, I’m Daniella and I am raising money for my Bat Mitzvah Project. My project is giving high quality musical instruments to kids that can’t afford them. This project is important because learning to play an instrument at a young age has many benefits. Learning an instrument can make kids better at language, and reading. It can also improve a child's memory, IQ and help kids achieve better math and SAT scores. There are many other benefits to learning an instrument.  Unfortunately, a lot of kids can’t afford one. That’s why for my project I am supporting The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation. This foundation uses all the money received to buy high quality musical instruments for kids in schools that can’t afford them. They also accept used instruments that are still in good shape. This has enabled 28,000 instruments to be donated to 1,522 schools, benefiting over 2 million students. If you would like to help kids have access to instruments, please click the Donate Now button.
