In memory of Jenn Andreassen (nee Emond)

Our community lost a vibrant soul on January 22. Our Jenn had been heroically fighting cancer since May 2018. A devastating loss, Jenn leaves behind her loving husband Mike and their two young boys Magnus and Silas.
Always exceptionally positive, even after her diagnosis, Jenn was not letting a cancer diagnosis change her life. Her smile and spirit was contagious -- she was rarely not smiling! Jenn was most happy on or near the ocean whenever possible. Her family was truly her source of strength making sure they felt her love and devotion to their happiness and well-being every chance she got.
Though Jenn's life ended too soon, she LIVED every minute of it--often pushing herself so she could be at every school assembly, soccer game, community event, and Halloween parades - in costume no less!
We know it takes a village to raise our children. We know the incredible impact that knowing Jenn has had on so many in our community. Mike and Jenn moved to CR to make a home and put down roots and, now, in this profoundly difficult time, Mike often expresses how grateful he is for the outpouring of love and support he receives from this community.
This fundraiser is being organized to assist Mike as he works hard to provide for Magnus and Silas. Together the family is navigating the tragic new reality without the foundation of their family. The money raised will go directly to Mike and the boys for immediate needs and expenses and also to keep the boys busy in the activities they love so much.
A silent auction, another wonderful fundraiser, has also been arranged to raise funds for this deserving family. Let us wrap our arms around Mike, Magnus and Silas and show them how much we care for them.
