COVID 19 Relief fund

A few of us reached out to the Director of IIT Roorkee to help students in this hour of need. Earlier the institute had asked all students to return home due to the spread of Covid. Close to 200 students are still in Roorkee who are Covid positive. Many students were not prepared for the extra expenses and financial hardship.

Announcing “IIT Roorkee Covid Relief Fund“. This fund will help students to cover any medical, education, or any other expenses related to Covid. Recipients will be determined by a panel of faculty members and students. This effort  has been approved and endorsed by the Director.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who are facilitating this effort (most are from 89 batch, but anyone is welcome to contribute): Pushkar Shahi, Shivajee Samdarshi, S Ramprasad, Kiran Panesar, Sunil Goyal, Rahul Jain (94 batch) and others.
