Lawrence and Mariah Ybarra

Lawrence Ybarra is a 34 year old single father to his 8 year old daughter Mariah.  In August 2014, Lawrence was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. During the past year, Lawrence has endured 17 aggressive chemotherapy treatments and two major surgeries in which 1/2 his colon and 1/3 of his liver were removed. In  August 2015, a scan showed the cancer had returned  to his liver.  He was given a terminal prognosis.  Lawrence is unable to work and needs help paying monthly living expenses for he and his daughter as well as treatment expenses.  With his terminal prognosis, funds will also go to help Lawrence and Mariah do some fun things and create lasting memories for them both.
