Rick Bernier Cancer Recovery Support

Rick Bernier has been diagnosed with Stage 2b Testicular Cancer, after having a large tumor removed. The cancer has since spread quickly. In addition to the cancer diagnosis, he has blood clots in both lungs and Type 2 Diabetes. Rick retired when he turned 63 in August, taking on a part-time job to make ends meet. One week later, he was no longer able to perform his job duties, due to falling ill. He has just completed his first, 5 consecutive days of Chemotherapy, as an inpatient, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He will require, three more courses, 5 consecutive days at a time, every 3 weeks...tentatively ending on January 4th. The family is in hopes of hosting a Benefit Dance at the Lancaster VFW on December 1st, to raise money for supplementing Rick and Joyce’s loss of income. (Stay tuned for more details).
