Help My Sister Fight Breast Cancer and Care for Her Daughter

Hi, my name is Andy Hermans, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Elizabeth Hermanns Neustel, who is currently fighting breast, liver, and lymph node cancer. This journey has been incredibly hard on her—physically, emotionally, and financially—and my heart aches seeing her struggle to stay afloat. She was ddiagnosedon April 11th ,2025.

On top of battling cancer and enduring the effects of chemotherapy, my sister is the full-time caregiver to her adult daughter, who has significant needs and requires a high level of daily care. She’s not only fighting for her own health, but also doing everything she can to remain strong for her daughter. Her husband Kris works as much as possible, but there are days they both need his help.

Due to the toll chemo has taken on her body, Elizabeth hasn’t been able to work as much as she would like and nneeds With less income flowing in and bills piling up—medical expenses, housing, utilities, and the ongoing cost of care for her daughter—her family has fallen behind and is now in a vulnerable place.

My sister is one of the strongest people I know. She’s always been there for her family, and now I’m hoping we can rally around her in her time of need.
