Last week, Bill Stelzer suffered a major cerebral hemorrhage which required extensive brain surgery. His prognosis is unclear at this time, but even with extensive therapy, physical and cognitive deficits are expected.
Bill has been in an induced coma since his brain surgery a week ago. If he survives, it is unlikely he will be able to return to work. The family has his income and insurance coverage through Bill’s work only until mid-January. The medical costs alone they’ve incurred will be astronomical, even with insurance. Costs after their insurance is cancelled will be impossible for the family.
What he loves most is to spend time with his family – he is completely dedicated to his wife Tina and an amazing and devoted dad to two daughters – Veronica, studying Architecture at USC, and Ainsley, a high school water polo player who will also be heading to college in a few years.
