My name is Josh. I am a single dad to 4 wonderful kids. Over the last year and a half I have been blessed with many things including a great job, and obtaining full custody of my 3 youngest children. In the last couple of years, I was able to purchase my first home. I have achieved many things I never thought I would achieve on my own. I thought I was finally going to get ahead but then everything changed. On May 31st of this year, I was in a motorcycle accident. I endured a collarbone break that resulted in surgery with a recovery time of about 3-4 months. I am currently waiting for disability to get approved which is taking a lot more time than I expected. With my profession being an Auto Mechanic, I am not able to work until I am healed and released by my doctor. Due to a back up with the social security and disability offices, I am having a difficult time receiving answers to my case when I call. Honestly, I am running out of time to pay my bills by their due date, as well as put food on the table for my children. Money is very short. I am out of options at this point, so I wanted to make a GoFundMe account in order to raise funds so I can feed my children and pay my bills until disability kicks in. Anything will help. I have had to postpone my bills, however this can make it harder in the end to catch up. Thank you in advance.
