Walter Langley has given so much to speed skating and especially to Team Extreme from Federal Way, Washington. Now, Walter needs our help to assist him to defray costs from a bad fall that has left him with broken ribs and collapsed lung.

WALTER:

This man teaches our kids --- for free. He helps them understand race strategy -- for free. He inspires even professional athletes with his amazing racing skills at an age when many people have retired to sedate sports. 

Walter provided the best moment many of us have ever seen at Nationals last year: instead of running into a skater returning to the relay line, Walter hit the wall, put his skates through it, got back up, returned to pace, he came on so fast that he had to PICK-UP HIS RELAY PARTNER, AMI, who had slowed to adjust for his fall and carry her through a turn and still---still!---Walter Langley set a National record. 

Walter lives to skate and he loves to share what he knows. He and Ami are gifts to our kids, the Team Extreme community and the speed skating world.
