**10/28 update- Ms. Darlene had a nephrostomy tube placed last week and is recovering well. She’s waiting for her next surgery to be scheduled to remove her bladder. Thanks so much for your support, thoughts and prayers!**

Ms. Darlene has been diagnosed with high grade bladder cancer. She needs a few smaller surgeries prior to her big surgery to remove her bladder. After an 8 week recovery the plan is to start chemotherapy. She will be out of work for a few months at a minimum. She is such a blessing to our family as I know she is for a lot of families. She is a safe haven for kids who aren’t sure about drop off, fills in when teachers need to step out, and she feeds our babies each day so now it’s our turn to feed her! The money raised will help ease her financial stress from being out of work and medical bills. Thank you for taking care of her as she has taken care of us!
