Leon & Rowan’s walk for Young lives vs Cancer

Hi my name is Leon and me and my good friend Rowan are aiming to walk from the Royal Marsden Children’s cancer Hospital in Sutton to the Dukes Head in Hamstreet.
I am an apprentice carpenter and last December my boss found out that his nephew Harley had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). It has devastated the family and whilst Harley’s prognosis is very good his treatment spans two years.
During his time so far under treatment at the Royal Marsden a charity who are specialists in cancer in children have been a great support for Harley’s Mum and their family both financially and emotionally.
They are called Young Lives versus Cancer.
I aim to raise as much as I can for this charity in support of Harley and his family. I am aiming to finish the walk during a special fun day at the Duke’s Head Hamstreet on Monday August 26th 2024. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Young Lives vs Cancer, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.
More information about Young Lives vs Cancer: When a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer, their whole world (and their family’s) can feel like it’s falling apart. Their anxieties are deep. Their education, mental health and social lives suffer. Their futures feel very uncertain.
Young Lives vs Cancer's specialist social workers provide tailored psychosocial support to children and young people with cancer, and their families.
We stop at nothing to make sure they can get the right care and support at the right time
