Support Ami

Ami has been a Type II diabetic for 27 years.  Ami had an infection in her foot, that traveled up her leg and eventually into her buttocks.  She had two minor procedures done to help clear the infection.  However, Ami's immune system was not strong enough to help fight the infection.  She eventually had to undergo a major surgery, which ended in her kidneys and heart almost failing.  She has had to undergo a blood transfusion and is on oxygen currently in the ICU.  Her body is yet to start repairing itself, due to her white blood cell count being extremely low.  

I am starting this fundraiser with a goal of $6000, as Ami has been out of work for the last month trying to recover from a foot infection, that has turned into a disaster.  Ami is a single mother of a 7 year old little girl and is the sole provider for her home.  This fundraiser will give her a little cushion until she recovers from this ordeal and is able to return to a normal lifestyle.  Again the goal is $6000, but if we can exceed that amount it will be even better!!

This money will go to help pay her rent, utilities and other bills.  It will also provide her with money for food and any prescriptions she may need as she recovers.
