Last week a friend died unexpectedly, leaving behind her two lovely children, Lily-May and Harry. Kirsty was a truly exceptional mum, who adored her children. Kirsty was amazing. Despite being a single mum and working full time, she was always the first to offer help to anyone, the first to volunteer to help at the school and the first to say something kind in any situation. When she couldn’t find a football team for her son Harry to join, she just set one up herself, learned it all from scratch and did the most fantastic job. The team meant so much to her all the boys and parents felt the same back. Kirsty was just such a kind, caring and lovely person. As a group of parents, we are absolutely devastated and we will all miss Kirsty greatly. We also want to do whatever we can to help her children. So we have decided to set up this page to raise some money for Kirsty’s mum, to help ease the responsibilities of taking care of her grandchildren, while dealing also with the heartache of losing her daughter. This could help cover funeral expenses or help pay for her to Lily-May and Harry on holiday. Ultimately though, it can be spent on whatever her mum and brother think will help make things just a little easier for Lily-May and Harry to cope with the loss of their amazing mum. If you can make any contribution, however small, I promise you it will be truly appreciated.
