Gerald

On December 23 around 1pm my father Gerald “G” was in a motorcycle accident. He is currently in the ICU at Jackson Memorial South. He suffered two collapsed lungs, fractured left arm, road rash, broken bones in the face and minor bleeding in the brain.

**UPDATE 1/1/18**
My father still hasn’t regained consciousness and the doctors are still unable to determine the degree of his brain injury. He is off all sedatives, pain medications and is even breathing on his own, but still isn’t responding to touch, sound or even pain. He had facial reconstruction surgery Thursday, December 28, which included placing a permanent trachea and having his jaw wired shut for the next two weeks. As of yesterday he is back on the feeding tube.

I appreciate all the prayers and I ask that whoever is able to contribute towards my fathers recovery it would be extremely appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has expressed their concern for G and we will continue to keep posting updates.
