My mother Irma Flores passed away from leukemia on February 7th 2013. Since then we’ve founded our commUNITY outreach organization named Project Phoenix SA. Over the last two years we have come together as a family and donated Christmas presents to children undergoing cancer treatments at a local hospital. Recently, I visited the children’s hospital and I wanted to take a different approach to give back to our commUNITY. I made the decision to dedicate my miles for Capital to Coast for the children and their families going through this difficult time. Please help us raise funds and awareness for these families that come from all over the state to help find a cure for their child.
