Here is a link to the trip we're looking at for mom. She loves history and cultural activities, and this is full of it!
For anyone lucky enough to meet my mother, you know how much a giving, selfless, kind woman she has always been. She has touched so many lives with her open heart, sense of adventure and warm light from within.
But if know my mother, you also know the amount of heartbreak and tragedy she's been force to endure.
In a span of 10 years, she lost her two sons - Kirk in 2009 and Shaun in 2018 - in tragic accidents. This year she lost her sweet cat Fugi, whom has been by her side for 11 years, and helped her endure the trauma of losing my brothers.
Now it's just us. And a long time ago when I was a kid, I promised that I would become rich and fly her to Paris, because she always dreamed of traveling there. The problem is - I didn't get rich. At least I didn't get financially rich. Instead, my mom and I are rich with friends and connections. With that, I'm hoping you can help me.
Mom's 60th birthday is this November. I'm hoping with your help, we can keep the promise I made as a kid. If we can make this goal, I'd love to give mom a 60th birthday gift she truly deserves.
I understand that this might seem like a crowdfund that's not as crucial as a surgery or funeral. But after so many losses, mom deserves a win. As hard as it is to ask for help, unfortunately I just don't have the means to make this win happen by myself.
I also completely understand if you don't have the means to donate. Any little bit will help. Otherwise, just sharing this with others will be enough.
