Heart Surgery

Hello,

We are Kevin and Lily Ayers and we are hoping to raise money for Lily’s heart surgery. Lily is 6 years old and loves life and to play with her brother and mom and dad.

Lily has a rare syndrome named DDX3X which is a deletion on one of her chromosomes. A spontaneous mutation during conception. She is also autistic which comes along with DDX3X.

this syndrome causes global learning disorders and affects every child differently. Currently there only around [phone redacted] children in the world with this syndrome so it’s very rare disease. Lily has spent all of her life in and out of the doctors offices and somehow wakes up everyday full of vigor. She tires easily from the hole in her heart. They will go in and patch it up in July and hopefully with your help she can enjoy the energy the other children have and not have to watch from the sidelines. She has weak joints and has to wear orthotics on her feet to help keep her stable. She’s sick Atleast every 6-8 weeks with something. We are also working on getting testing done for her immune system to see if she’s sick a lot because of that. We had to sell our house 2 years ago to pay for the genetic testing to finally find out what was wrong. We would greatly appreciate any help you may provide for our little Lily Bug.
