Let's Support Amanda!

Our dear friend and colleague, Amanda Welvers, was recently diagnosed with a form of blood cancer. Her treatment will require numerous hospital visits over an extended period of time, including a month-long stay while she undergoes a bone marrow transplant. As you may know, she left Sanborn School District two years ago and as a result has significantly fewer paid sick days. She will use the days she has during her initial treatment visits. As a result, the vast majority of the time she will need to take will be unpaid. Any donations would go toward hospital bills, meals for her family, travel to and from the hospital in Boston, and other related expenses.
