Hello!
- I am a queer person living in Narrm (Melbourne) Originally hailing from Aotearoa, NZ
- I work in Fashion and sew my own clothes in my own time.
- I used to make binders under the Instagram name BOSS BINDERS
- I currently wear binders and have for many years - now it's time for the titties to go!
- I am getting Top Surgery! This will involve the removal and recontour of my breast tissue - resulting in a more masculine appearance.
- Fees: psych appointments in order to receive WPATH referral $900, surgeon $9000, anesthetist $2500, hospital stay approx $3500; all up ~$15,900
- I'll need 2 weeks off work to recover and a further 4 weeks with reduced capacity for work (no heavy lifting etc.)
- My partner and I are currently working to save as many pennies as possible, but I'm asking for help so I can access the surgery in mid-January (and not have to push out my spot)
- The funds gained will go direct to the fees listed above.
- After surgery, I will have a fantastic care team: Tony (blue heeler pictured), Pepperoni (greyhound), Sadie (cat), my Partner, Chloe along with my immediate family from a distance in NZ and the other side of the city.
Current status: I've had the first and second consultation (start of July, mid July) and I have had the first psych consultation.
Next steps: Surgery is booked for Mid January. I require 2 more psych appointments in order to receive WPATH report and have a final surgical consult in late November to prepare.
