On October 18, 2018 Joe was in a serious motorcycle accident. Joe was life flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center after being flown 46ft from his motorcycle. When they arrived at the scene he was unconscious but gained consciousness shortly after. Joe has suffered several injuries. Some major, some minor. The most major was an aortic aneurysm in his aortic artery near his heart. He went to surgery shortly after being stabilized to put a graft in his artery to keep the leak in his artery from getting any worse. The graft will stay there for the rest of his life. He also has suffered a severe femur injury, 2 broken ribs,a subdural hematoma, a broken ankle, broken pelvic, punctures of both legs, both feet broken, air in lungs (the air is being removed as he recovers), multiple injuries to his liver, kidney, stomach, & spleen. This is going to be a LONG, tough recovery. Joe is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force & is now in school for physical therapy at MTSU while working as a personal trainer & a model. If anyone knows Joe, they know what a loving, kind, compassionate human being he is. He is such a good soul. Joe has impacted so many lives. He is the most big hearted human-being I have ever known & I can guarantee anyone who knows him will agree with that. This accident is going to impact his life tremendously. He is always on the go. He is a hardworking young man chasing so many dreams. The amount of injuries he has suffered is going to make this journey an extremely long, tough road. The amount of love & support he has surrounding him has been everything. He is not alone in this fight. With the long road ahead for Joe, he is going to be out of work as well as school. His recovery is going to be very difficult. With all the the major injuries he has endured, he is going to need all the love, support, & financial help he can get. We love you all & are so appreciative for all the love, support, & prayers we have already received. Thank you so much.
