Help the family of 5-year old Marlon Arrevillaga
Donation protected
As a maintenance group at National express we are more than co-workers. We are a family.
This week one of our own from White Plains NY suffered the tragic loss of his 5-year old son.
Marlon was a 5-year-old boy who was energetic and gave his family a reason to smile. He was known as the Marlon Boy as he played music with his phone throughout the house. Marlon was the youngest of 2 and was the brother of his older sister Nadylee.
On December 5th, 2016, Marlon was born with a respiratory condition that did not allow him to breathe through his nose. Last week, March 16th, our beloved Marlon had surgery to alleviate his difficulties breathing. After a couple of days, Marlon was supposed to have a full speedy recovery. However, it was heartbreaking Marlon passed unexpectedly.
Marlon's father, Alex Arreviallaga Is a Technician at our White Plains NY location. Alex Arrevillaga is an exemplary father who is dedicated his life to support his family and also to help others when they need it. Alex has proven to be a humble and dedicated person in everything he does, and he has shown it with his work.
Alex has more than 16 years working for National Express which allowed him to develop his skills and expertise inside and outside the company. Alex has been a dedicated and consistent worker and has shown just that over the years. Alex' brother, Marlon's Uncle is also a member of the NELLC family in White plains NY.
Marlon’s mother, Alfida Hilario dedicated her time to taking care of Nadylee and Marlon. Especially taking care of Marlon’s medical needs as he would always have doctor's appointments and other medical concerns to attend to.
We all know these are challenging times we’re living in as we are still living in a pandemic that has left economic struggles for many. Marlon's parents are those who have deeply struggled financially.
We are asking the NELLC family to join together and reach out to help this family in this time of great need with expenses for the final arrangements.
A heartfelt Thank you for your donation from the Arreviallaga/Hilario Family.
