Hi I'm Emily. I have been best friends with Vickie and Scottie for the last six years. They have been through hell and back and always came out stronger. Scottie is a young hard-working newly engaged man whos life is focused on his family and always puts everyone else first and helps all in need.
On September 10 an accident happened that will impact Scottie and his fiancé, mentally physically and financially. Scottie is one of the nicest and most warm-hearted people you will ever meet, a man who just encountered some bad luck. While with his fiancé and family, Scott had an accident that led him to be severely burned from a fire. He has suffered second-degree burns on his face and third on his hand which will need surgery and a long time to heal. He was rushed to the ER in Seabrook, from there they med flighted him to Mass General. He is currently in the burn unit and is getting the best care possible. However that of course comes with a cost. Aside from the pain and anguish he is suffering from this, it will leave him and his fiancé with a big financial burden. This page is to allow people to make a donation to help offset their medical expenses and time lost at work for both of them because when he finally gets out of the hospital, he will need a caretaker. Any and all donations and prayers are welcome and much appreciated. Also feel free to share words and prayers for Scottie at this very unfortunate and difficult time.
Message from Vickie:
A huge thank you to Tammie Fava, Scott’s aunt, for doing the write up for this page. I don’t know what I would do without your love and support. Also another huge thank you to Emily for offering to run this fundraiser for me so that’s one less thing to worry about. I am forever grateful for your friendship.
As many people know Scottie is the absolute love of my life and I will stop at nothing to get him home and healthy. We have a long road ahead of us, but I know with the army we have behind us we will come out stronger than ever. Thanks again everybody and I will continue to update as more information comes.
